Application to pre-purchase a home

If you are interested in purchasing a home, you will work with the City of Minneapolis on submitting proper documentation regarding your income. To qualify for a home, you must be within the 60-150% Area Median Income bracket. Below is the application.

Each home will qualify for the Neighborhood Revitalization Property Tax Rebate. This progressive property tax rebate includes a rebate of 75% for five years. Rebate is on city and school property tax, and does not include county tax. This strategic approach alleviates the property tax burden on the new homeowners during the initial 5-year period and further addresses affordability.
