Application to pre-purchase a home

If you are interested in purchasing a home, you will work with the City of Beloit on submitting proper documentation regarding your income. To qualify for a home, you must be within the 60-150% Area Median Income bracket. Below is the application.

Each home will qualify for the Neighborhood Revitalization Property Tax Rebate. This progressive property tax rebate includes a rebate of 95% in the first year, 90% in the second year, 80% in the third year, 70% in the fourth year, and 60% in the fifth year. This strategic approach alleviates the property tax burden on the new homeowners during the initial 5-year period and further addresses affordability.
